DBMM in Irland: Brian Boru im Oktober

Beitrag von Zensor Konfusius » Mo 11. Mär 2019, 16:01

Hallo Alle,

Hi All

To give potential participants as much advance notice as possible, I am pleased to announce that this year’s annual DBMM competition for the Brian Boru trophy in Dublin is now confirmed to go ahead in the autumn - details as follows:

Event: DBMM Competition for the Brian Boru Trophy 2019
Date: Saturday and Sunday, 19-20th October 2019
Venue: Teachers’ Club (Club na Muinteori), 36 Parnell Square West, Dublin 1
Format: 2-day, 4-round themed 400 AP DBMM event
Theme: 30 Battles that Shook the World – 1244 to 1506 AD

The current published version of DBMM (Version 2.1) and relevant associated army list books will apply.

Registration will be at 9.45am on the Saturday, with the first game to begin at 10am. The competition will conclude with prize-giving at 5.30am on the Sunday. The competition entry fee is €30

Players who submit their lists by Friday 11th October 2019 will be eligible for entry in the draw for the door prize. I am the competition organiser and list checker. Lists can be submitted to me by email to: jan@cnmedia.ie

Thanks to Mick Hession for coming up with the initial set of battles for this year’s theme, which apart from a few additions and suggestions of my own, pretty much all appear in the final version.

So have fun choosing an army. I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Best regards
Jan
